In the first half of 2025, the overall revenue of 22 listed small home appliance companies in my country reached 54.322 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.78%. However, in the three major categories of small kitchen appliances, cleaning appliances and personal care small appliances, the net profits of some companies declined.
In terms of small kitchen appliances, the net profits of Biyi Shares, Bear Electric Appliances and Joyoung Shares all declined. Among them, Biyi Shares’ operating income in the first half of the year was 860 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.08%, and its attributable net profit was 68 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 46.46%; Bear Electric Appliances’ operating income in the first half of the year was about 2.131 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 8.97%, and its attributable net profit was about 161 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 32.01%; Joyoung Shares’ operating income in the first half of the year was 4.387 billion yuan, a slight increase of 1.6% year-on-year, and its net profit fell by 29.04% year-on-year to 175 million yuan.
In the field of cleaning appliances, Stone Technology and Ecovacs are in fierce competition, and the revenue gap is gradually narrowing. In the first half of the year, Stone Technology achieved revenue of 4.416 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 30.9%, and net profit of 1.121 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 51.57%. Ecovacs’ total revenue in the first half of the year was 6.976 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.35%, and net profit of 609 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.26%.
In terms of personal care small appliances, the net profits of Beiyikang and Feike Electric Appliances were almost halved. Among them, Beiyikang’s total operating revenue in the first half of the year was 117 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 29.16%, and its attributable net profit was 87 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 60.40%; Feike Electric Appliances’ total operating revenue in the first half of the year was 2.319 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 13.27%, and its attributable net profit was 315 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 48.13%.
It is worth noting that although the net profit of some companies has declined, the overall revenue performance of the industry is still considerable. Industry insiders analyzed that this is mainly due to the continued growth of demand in the small home appliance market and the continuous optimization of product structure and market layout by enterprises.
In the context of increasingly fierce market competition, small household appliance companies need to increase their innovation efforts and improve product quality to adapt to the increasingly diverse needs of consumers. At the same time, actively expanding overseas markets and increasing the proportion of exports are also important ways for companies to achieve sustainable development.
